Corotrips is a digital accommodation booking platform for tourist destinations in the Dominican Republic, operated by Corotrips S.R.L., domiciled in the Dominican Republic.

2 What information do we collect?
Information you provide to us:
- Full name, email address and phone number when you register or contact us.
- Payment data (processed encrypted through our secure payment providers; we do not store card numbers).
- Travel information: destination, dates, number of guests and accommodation preferences.
- Comments, ratings and support messages you send us.
Information collected automatically:
- IP address, browser type, operating system and device used.
- Pages visited, browsing time and actions within the platform.
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see section 6).
3 What do we use your information for?
- Processing and managing your accommodation bookings.
- Sending you confirmations, receipts and updates about your booking.
- Providing customer support and answering your inquiries.
- Improving the platform's functionality, security and experience.
- Sending you marketing communications, offers and promotions (only if you have given your consent).
- Complying with legal and regulatory obligations applicable in the Dominican Republic.
- Preventing fraud and ensuring the security of transactions.
4 Who do we share your information with?
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We only share it in the following cases:
- Hotels and accommodations: we share the necessary data (name, dates, number of guests) to confirm your booking with the accommodation provider.
- Payment processors: payment data is securely transmitted to our authorized providers (such as Stripe or others).
- Technical service providers: companies that help us operate the platform (cloud hosting, transactional email, analytics), under confidentiality agreements.
- Legal authorities: when required by Dominican law or a court order.
5 How long do we keep your information?
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by applicable law:
- Account data: while your account is active and 2 additional years after deletion.
- Booking data: 5 years for accounting and tax obligations.
- Support communications: 1 year from case resolution.
6 Cookies and similar technologies
We use our own and third-party cookies to:
- Essential cookies: necessary for the platform to function (session, authentication, booking cart).
- Analytics cookies: to understand how the platform is used and improve it (e.g. Google Analytics).
- Preference cookies: to remember your language, currency and other settings.
You can manage or disable cookies from your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies may affect the platform's functionality.
7 Your rights
In accordance with applicable law, you have the right to:
- Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure: request deletion of your personal data, unless there is a legal obligation to retain it.
- Objection: object to the use of your data for direct marketing purposes.
- Portability: request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

8 Security
We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss or disclosure: encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure storage on servers with restricted access, and periodic security reviews. However, no system is 100% invulnerable and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of data transmitted over the Internet.
9 Minors
Corotrips is not directed at minors under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you discover that a minor has provided data through our platform, contact us so we can proceed with its deletion.
10 Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the beginning of the document and, if the changes are significant, we will notify you by email or through a prominent notice on the platform.
